We had a lot of nice dinners catching up with good friends. Jello and Laura had us and Toast, another Carleton friend, over for dinner one night. The kids digital camera was a big hit with all. Ella gives Laura some very sweet (and wet) mommy kisses. 
We also had a wonderful Old Chicago pizza dinner with Tom and Tracie and the girls. Eliot, Ruthie and Miles had a fine time in the basement play room. Maggie was adorable and has gotten so big. Lisa and Matt cooked us a nice meal. Eliot and Miles both fell asleep at their dinner!
We stopped in on Saturday to see Karen and Doug and Buttercup. She is fatter than fat! Apparently her 2 months living in the wild made her eat food at any opportunity, just in case it might disappear again. She also learned to stay close to the house. Buttercup got a dose of life in our house with Eliot and Miles running after her for pets while visiting the Barenders. She'll lose those extra 8 pounds in the spring and summer!
