Jim enjoyed playing with Eliot's gift for much of the night. Gina (and Ap) opened their surprise from Sinterklaas. Under the first layer of wrapping paper was sponges and a poem written on a dish cloth. Merrick and Martijn helped unwrap the next layer to reveal the gift: some new placemats. Who would have known they would make perfect swords. All the boys and men got into action. On Guard.At about 8:30, we loaded up on our bikes and headed back to the apartment. We looked closely but didn't see any Zwarte Pieten about delivering presents.
