We discovered a traditional chocolate letter in the sack for each of us. [Leonidas chocolate - quite a treat] The boys finished unwrapping their other small gifts. Eliot got a big rubber snake (nice) and a safari K-nex set. Miles unwrapped 2 train track buffers and some finger puppets. After putting pajammas on, they got busy playing.

Jim unwrapped his surprise first and discovered a bottle brush with a poem. Inside the box was a bunch of loose coffee beans and filters. Finally at the bottom was the gift: a nice thermos for hot or cold drinks. Next, it ws my turn. My first "surprise" was a gift box filled with a puzzle. I got to work putting my first puzzle together. In the end, I had to assemble three puzzles of the family to read my poems. Sinterklaas gave me three beautiful votive holders.

We had a great evening and finally went to bed around 11 pm. What a special cultural experience!

Dank je wel, Sinterklaas
