Since the weather was so nice, I called Deborah to see if she wanted to join us at Westerhonk. The boys had such a great time on Wednesday. You know those smiles of pure heaven when they see a playground that they know is fun! So we met Astrid and Deoborah there about 1:45. Astrid stayed with us when Deborah had a quick errand to run. Miles and Astrid made "all kinds of ice cream" while Eliot preferred to make blueberry ice cream and smoothies. The cooks also made pannekeuken that was so yummy. Miles did an endless number of laps on the slide. All three kids rode on the merry-go-round though I think Eliot was about to tire out at the end.

We left Westerhonk about 3:30, and Eliot and Miles crashed on the couch. They had such a big day. Jim took the boys out for pannekeuken, and I went out with the women's group for tapas and then cocktails. It was my first night out with the ladies since August. We had a good crowd of 7 people. After a great and filling dinner, we went next door to the only cocktail bar in Delft (as I learned). Leslie, Deborah, Roberta and I partied into the wee hours, though Leslie had to leave a little earlier. Deborah and I biked home together at 1 am.
