Eliot's Travels

Is it just our kids? Or maybe its 2-year olds? We spent the morning cleaning up toys again after a wonderful pancake and bacon breakfast. This morning was more of the traditional variety with homemade buttermilk (karnemelk) pancakes and fresh blueberries.

The weather looked clear for awhile, so we headed out on errands around 1. After the basics (Miles was down to one diaper), we purchased a hand mixer with an immersion blender attachment. Mmmm - margaritas, chocolate chip cookies, smoothies, spinach soup. We stopped by the travel agency D-Reizen to look into a trip away for Jim and me while his parents are here. Miles slept, and Eliot colored and looked at brochures. After 2 hours, we booked flights and hotel for a weekend in Barcelona, Spain for the first of November. We're pretty excited.
