Market Day

Miles and I went out for a mega shopping trip in the stroller. We went to the bakery, a veggie stall at the market, a nut stall, the grocery store, and the cheese store. Our last stop was the the flower market. By the end we were completely loaded down, and I was carrying three additional bags on my back and shoulders! Jim had asked if I ever took the backpack so I could carry more things when I went shopping - work horse!

From the flower vendors, we bought 2 bunches of red dahlias. This one flower had a lone white petal. I also picked out these pink star lillies which spent the next week opening up to a beautiful fragant bouquet.

After picking up Eliot at school, we ate lunch. Eliot wanted to bike over to the Top-1 Toys store to get a special christmas present; I walked carrying Miles on my back while he napped. It was sprinkling and near "rush" hour, so I was glad to get the boys back home safely. After dinner and his Thursday night conference calls, Jim went out with the Delftians.
