Fall is here, thought you wouldn't know it today. The last flowers are blooming, and the leaves are thinking about changing. I like this funky tree - skinny and tall with long skinny branches. In the last month, the days have become noticeable shorter. It's dark when the alarm goes off at 7:15 and it is getting dark before 7 (which is a large change from summer). It is also colder (generally), and Eliot and I have put on mittens and gloves for our morning rides to school.
Halloween is quickly approaching. Since the Dutch don't celebrate this holiday, we are planning festivities with the other American families in the playgroup. Tonight, I met with some of the moms to plan our Halloween party and trick-or-treating.
