Today Jim wanted to go see the Maurithuis Museum in The Hague. After breakfast, we took Tram 1 toward central Den Haag. We splurged (I guess that's the word) and ate at Burger King for lunch. The museum was setting up a new exhibit, so they weren't charging admission today. Their most famous works were still on display. Eliot got a silent bat phone with his meal, which was perfect because he was distracted with it the entire hour in the museum. Jim and I both enjoyed the audio tour, while Miles slept in the stroller. I spent time with the Rembrandts, Hans Memling portrait, and the Vermeers. Eliot like the cow canvas again. Miles woke up just as Jim was finishing, so we headed out to walk the shopping street.
Jim discovered the American bookstore near the museum; the store has books from the US. Jim bought himself a new book. We found a cafe with sandwiches and smoothies, so we stopped for a bite for Miles (he missed lunch). We decided to head home after that. The weather kept clearing as we ventured home, so Jim and Eliot went out for a bike ride on Eliot's bike. They went out past the old church and back. Miles and I stayed home and played.

Eliot and Miles moved from Boulder, CO to Delft, The Netherlands for the summer. Traveling from this old village, where will their adventures take the boys with their mommy (and daddy) for a guide?
