On Tuesday morning Jim took Eliot to school. Gina called after breakfast to see if we wanted to join her in town for errands and play. Of course! Miles and I met them at the square, and we walked to the natural foods store cafe to have coffee and visit. The cafe has a small play nook with books and toys for the kids. Then we all walked to the Burbanste Turfmarkt to run a few errands. Miles and Merrick played on the bronze statue. Jim was able to pick up Eliot from school, so Miles and I made a quick trip to Albert Heijn to get milk, yogurt and such.
At school, Eliot has been studying water and the sea. Today they experimented with floating and sinking. They discovered that feathers, a pink foam heart, and popsicle sticks float, while rocks and screws sink. He seems to really enjoy school.
After dinner, Jim tried to go play ultimate but was denied because he didn't have a sportcard. He stopped by the grocery store instead to pick up a few things and came home to make smoothies for dessert.

Eliot and Miles moved from Boulder, CO to Delft, The Netherlands for the summer. Traveling from this old village, where will their adventures take the boys with their mommy (and daddy) for a guide?
