After warming up and resting a bit in the hotel, we headed back to the Engels for dinner around 5:30 or 6. Jasper was having a sleep over at Oma and Opa's house so he was there as well. Erik had returned home (10 miles away) for the night. The boys all seemed to want the same toys at once (smart cars, blocks, other trucks, etc.). It was interesting to watch their interactions because Jasper only spoke Dutch, while Eliot and Miles mostly (solely) spoke English. Jeanne and Kees spoke Enlgish to us and then Dutch to Jasper. Kees has a nice model train with Lego buildings up in the attic that the boys enjoyed seeing.
We did manage to get a picture of the old friends, with and without grandkids!
