Tonight, Gina and Deborah had organized a going away potluck dinner for me. We ate in style with wraps, salmon, wings, a salad, curry rice, potato salad and homemade German chocolate cake.We had the dinner at my apartment, so the boys could just hang out and I didn't have to worry about a babysitter. The idea was for mom to join us and get to know my friends. Intentions are great; but she ended up spending most of the night making valentine's with the boys in the bedroom. As a result, I got a great visit with my friends one last time.
The ladies presented me with a wonderful picture book of Delft - fantastic shots around the city. It is such a picturesque and historic place. And they of course brought flowers - that's a must in Holland!
