We picked up Eliot at noon but not without drama. Miles had fallen asleep while we were out running errands, so I decided to take the train to pick Eliot up, so Miles could continue sleeping in the Ergo carrier. We were at the station in plenty of time to buy tickets and get on the platform. The sign said the 11:36 sneltrein to Breda was due 10 minutes late. A train pulled up around 11:42; the sign changed to the 11:44 stoptrein, a quick announcement was made, and then the trian left. The sign returned to the 11:36 sneltrein. My stoptrein to the Delft Zuid station had just left without me. I had to wait nearly 15 more minutes for the 11:56 train. When it was 2 minutes late, I could only think how late I would be to pick up Eliot. I practically ran from the station to the school. Luckily, Lucien was there with Eliot and all was fine.
When we finally got to school, Lucien said that Eliot had enjoyed hammering a project today, but didn't have enough time to finish it. He thought maybe Eliot should go to school all day (adding 1-3 pm) one day a week to have a more cohesive day and more Dutch exposure. We'll need to consider that.

In the evening, Eliot took my picture (not too bad). Miles said he was "rocking and rolling." Eliot likes to play the xylophone really loud and fast; he always asks if I am ready "for some rock-n-roll." Who knows where they pick these things up, but Miles clearly learned that term from Eliot!
