Election Day

Jim drove John and Mary to the airport about 7 am. Since Miles was still quite sick with a lung infection, he rode in the nice warm car with Grandma and Grandpa (rather than on a cold bike with me). I took Eliot to school. The last few weeks have become noticeably cooler for our morning ride. There was a beautiful sailboat newly moored in de Kolk - Avontuur. On my way home from taking Eliot, I got this sunrise shot over the ship and TU (technical university) building.
When I got home, Jim arrived from his airport run with Miles, so I could take him to the doctor. Mary thought he might have pneumonia; Doc Grandma had brought her stethoscope with her. He didn't but did need the steroids to help him clear up his lungs and feel better.
We voted by absentee (mailed a few weeks ago) and were anxious to find out election results. Given that we were 8 hours ahead, the results would have to wait until tomorrow.
