After dropping Eliot off at school, I saw this orange excavator moving a tree. I thought it was a funny scene. Miles and I got ready and rode over to Gina's house for playgroup. There were lots of moms and kids and we all enjoyed coffee and snacks. We sang some songs, and then moved from the house to a playground nearby. After just a few slides, Miles and I had to head off to get Eliot.

When I got to school at 12, Eliot immediately showed me his projects: a fish colored in marker and a book. He had made me a book with lots of "e" words made from an "e" rubber stamp. Lucien said that he worked hard on his stamping project. All afternoon, he wanted me to "read the book" to him.

When we were leaving school, Jason gave Eliot a big hug and kiss, and Eliot returned a bear hug. Jason's mom said that he says Eliot is his best friend. Very sweet. On our way home, I realized that we had left Miles' baby jaguar at Gina's, so we headed back to her house right after school. We met them on their walk back from the playground, picked up jaguar, and headed home for lunch. Miles has become very attached to his little stuffed animal: baby jaguar. He gives it kisses, hugs, and pets. And he takes it everywhere. He's very cute with it and calls is "yeow yeow" and "jag."
