Eliot is really doing well in school. He is starting to pick up words and follow the rhythms of the day. Tonight at dinner, he asked for a blauw (blue) plate and told us that he hears "mooi" at school. I said that means beautiful, and he corrected me "it's pretty." That's a word you hear from parents a lot, as well as goedso (sp?, good job). He's been helping us with pronunciation! You've got to love that. It's fun seeing him doing so well.

When I picked him up, Eliot showed off another triangle design in the hexagon. The other group 1-2 class had made a wonderful autumn garden with a pond, dried flowers, and leaves. Beautiful! After school, the boys played on the monkey bars for a little while and found shells and rocks in the sand.
