On Tuesdays, paper recycle is picked up curbside around the city center. I guess our Kraft mac-n-cheese box escaped from its bin. Glass recycling is done centrally at various locations in underground bins. They don't recycle metal. Deborah thought that they pull out the other recyclables after the trash is burned.
Wednesday is trash day in the city center. It's pretty civilized here. There are trash cans everywhere in the city, as well as underground dumpsters for general use like the glass recycling. Outside the city center, people have bins for trash and compost material. Inside the center, you just put your trash bags out on the curb.
