Time for cake and ice cream. We splurged for Ben & Jerry's chocolate chip cookie dough ($8 for a pint!). Miles really studied the candles and blew one out at a time as everyone sang to him. First, Happy Birthday to You in English, then in Dutch:

Miles picks up the little ladybug cake and dives in. The others had cupcakes with candies and clown heads for decorations (from a local bakery).
