It's another school day for Eliot. We have to leave around 8:10 to make it by the start of school at 8:30. It's about a 15-minute bike ride, depending on the rain and or wind. But it takes us a few minutes to get down the elevator, onto the bike, and out of the garage.

He was fine this morning when I dropped him off. Lucien was there and Marry was too, so he is now at least familiar with his teachers. Miles and I did some shopping while Eliot was at school. We were able to take the bike and use Eliot's seat for groceries. Perfect!

The school has two areas of large blocks for the youngest children: these wooden ones and some large legos. They are pretty neat.

We saw the swan family swimming in de Kolk on our way back from picking up Eliot. So far, most afternoons have been for napping and relaxing after school.
