Eliot, Miles and I biked to the water playground on Wednesday morning. The weather looked iffy, but we decided to just go. I brought our raincoats just in case! This is the last week before school starts, so there were quite a few kids there with grandparents, dads, and moms. The boys first played in the sand, and Eliot had a ball playing on the pirate ship. He made up a nice song while steering the ship - the rutter even moves.
Eliot ran to check out the rope bridge, while Miles played giddie up on the horsie. After that the boys enjoyed giving the slides a turn with several other kids. Eliot did 2 laps to Miles' one and they had a great time. They have to climb a big (relatively) hill to get to the two slides. We lucked out and the sun came out. The boys enjoyed playing with the sand and the water before we headed home. Miles got totally soaked - as Eliot says, "This is Miles getting his pants wet." It was a good day.
