The cathedral has flying buttresses at its east end that have a span of 50ft. Square Jean XXIII is a beautiful garden at the east end of Ile de la Cite. The boys pose for a photo before we head back over the Seine. Eliot and I check out the works from a starving artist and buy a picture. Surprisingly, we saw very few artists during our short visit. I suppose it was August - the month when the French travel for holiday. Also, the rain every hour or so didn't help either! I sit on the bridge in front of the most famous view of Notre-Dame - the Cathedral from the Left Bank. We found the bus stop to take a nice ride over to the Champs Elysees.
