I got in line with the kids while we waited for Jim to join us. The line was long - we stood for about 45-60 minutes.
Eliot fell asleep on Jim while we were in the ticket line. The scrolling tourist sign said that it was another 30 minutes wait to go up to the top level. We decided to chance a meltdown and only go for a second-level ride. We rode on the lower half of the
double-decker yellow elevator, crammed into the compartment for the 376-ft ride up. 376 feet is high and Eliot was very happy about not going to the third level (905 ft). We got great views of the city and the tower up close. I liked seeing all the people below and they even had a plexiglass tube to look straight down the middle.
