As we left the Louvre, the rain was still coming down, though it was not always heavy. We had to find a spot for lunch, so we walked toward our next destination: Ile de la Cite and found a nice cafe. We had a
visitor join us - a nice little birdy complete with surprises on the table.
Eliot settles into his seat and becomes photographer capturing the
cold tap water at our table.

After a delicious creme brulee and a berry ice cream parfait, we walked across Pont Neuf (new bridge), dating back to 1578, to the boat-shaped island - Ile de la Cite. We followed the steps down to
Vert-Galant Square at the very tip of Cite. The
boys have a nice moment looking out across the "prow" of Cite at the River Seine.
