After coming down out of the sky, we wandered past this new museum along the Seine. It was very cool with plants growing on the vertical walls of the building. These were not vines, they were plants you'd put in a pot or your garden being grown on a soil carpet. I even saw a purple butterfly bush.

We ate dinner at a cafe near the Military Academy out on their patio. It was probably 60 deg and they had their outdoor heaters on! Pretty goofy - I was burning up.

We meandered home by Les Invalides just in time to catch beautiful sky colors around the Dome Church. Hotel des Invalides was commissioned by Louis XIV in 1671 for his wounded and homeless veterans. It was completed in 1676. The Dome Church was built to reflect the Splendor of Louis XIV's reign. It is one of the greatest examples of grand siecle architecture. The crypt houses the tomb of Napoleon.

Miles takes the lead in playing in the very dusty walkway in front of the church. I guess it will be bathtime tonight!! Here we watched a tour bus pull up and let off its passengers for a quick photo op. Quite a way to see Paris. The setting sun shows the walk we had ahead of us back to our hotel (45 minutes). We didn't get to bed until after 11 pm again.
