It was hot! Holland, Europe, United States, maybe the whole world is having a heat wave (hmmmmm). We have been above 25 deg C (85) most of the summer. The average high in July and August is 70 deg F. We've hit as high as 95. After our hot boat ride, we got some ice cream and headed to the square. There we enjoyed some cold water and caught a nice picture of the Stadhuis in the afternoon light. John got a couple of good shots of Niewe Kerk. Mary and I loaded the boys onto the stroller to continue our walk. We decided to retrace most of our boat cruise to check out the buildings and bridges. We followed a walking tour of famous Delft painters, writers and scientists.
