Today, the family went out on our bikes to run some errands. We stopped by the Saturday market on Hippolytusburt. You can see all the awnings lined up along the canal. It is booth after booth and seems to generally have the same people week to week. There are all kinds of things for sale - artwork, antiques, old toys, books, some junk. It's a couple of notches above a flea market, for sure. Eliot liked the pile of Smurf figures (yes, the blue and white people - laa laa la-laa-laa-laaa laa-la-laa-la-laaa).
On Oude Delft, we saw this bride and groom posing with their photographer for pictures. She had on a beautiful sage green gown; he wore a brown suit with green diagonal-stripe tie. They looked very happy and had lots of onlookers. Could it be because of the photographer lying in the road?
