This morning, I took Eliot to school via the bus, since it was pouring rain at 7:45. Eliot and I ran out the door and to catch the 8:01 bus. We barely made it, but we got on right before he pulled out (he opened the door to let us on). The weather actually cleared quite a bit by the time we got to school. While Eliot was at school, Miles and I went shopping. We saw our friendly worker at the produce market; she gave Miles raisins and also a box to give to Eliot. Miles helped me put things in our basket at the Albert Heijn grocery store.
On the way to pick up Eliot from school, I saw 3 barges between de Kolk and the turning bridge. One was the dredging barge we've seen a few times with a black and wood tug. The other two were sand barges. At school, Eliot had made a pink paper book and a spider web. He drew the web with pencil first, then green marker, and put sticky glue on top. It sounds like it was quite a process. Today they played in the gym upstairs because the yard was wet.

Eliot and Miles moved from Boulder, CO to Delft, The Netherlands for the summer. Traveling from this old village, where will their adventures take the boys with their mommy (and daddy) for a guide?
