In the afternoon, Miles slept and Eliot colored pictures for friends and Sinterklaas. Jim and Eliot finished his picture in the evening before bed. The boys put out their clogs and a carrot for Sinterklaas' paard (horse). Miles was very proud of his picture. Eliot made a boat for Sinterklaas out of a votive holder, cotton, felt, furballs, and glitter glue. We sang Op De Hoge, Hogen Daken (on the high, high roofs). Apparently, the horse takes Sinterklaas up to the roofs and he or the Piets come down the chimney (or next best entry, if you don't have a chimney).

Sinterklaasjournaal
The Hoofdpiet has been asking all the children to put their lists in their shoe or email them since the books pages are now empty and colored. The piets are busy putting them in the computer and printing them - pretty much silliness. Some of the Piets are rainbow colored because of the regenboog incident. Orange, purple, pink, green, blue and yellow Piets have been spotted around Holland.
