Today is the day -
Eliot's greatly overdue haircut at De Kinderkapsalon. Aunt Julie always took Eliot to Cool Cuts for kids in Broomfield when he needed a haircut. So when it came time to get a haircut here, he wanted to wait for Aunt Julie to take him to someplace fun. That was over a month ago. I called and got him an appointment when Aunt Julie was here - they were 3 weeks out for appointments. He really looked like a hippie when he wore his peace tie-dyed t-shirt. The kinderkapper was great - fun toys, a ball playland, and a video machine. Eliot watched Bob de Bouwer (can we fix it!) during his haircut. Miles loved playing in the balls and Eliot joined him as his cut. The stylist/shop owner was really nice too.

After the haircut, we biked by the Oostpoort, with
Julie on her rented bicycle, before heading to the party store. We were going to get a few things for Miles' birthday celebration with Aunt Julie. Afterwards we went shoe shopping for Julie and for the boys. Then it was off to lunch at Leonidas. This cafe is associated with Leonidas belgium chocolates. They have great lunch choices, and we enjoyed a nice salad and brie with pine nut and honey sandwiches. Afterwards, we stopped by the flower market for our weekly flowers and then off to home to rest for a bit.
