After dinner at home, we went out for ice cream. Eliot wanted to ride his bike, so we walked with Miles in the stroller. Miles immediately fell asleep, clearly exhausted, since he missed out on ice cream. Eliot parked his bike next to the bike rack and we went inside to enjoy some yummy ice cream. Afterwards we strolled across the Markt where they were setting up a huge grandstand for a band competition on Fri and Sat. It's really starting to get dark much earlier now, so by 8 pm we are getting some nice sunsets, like this shot of Nieuwe Kerk. The last few weeks have provided our first glimpses of Delft at night, since we arrived in May. We walked on to the Beestenmarkt. Eliot took this artsy photo of the cow statue. We stopped by the C1000 to pick up milk and batteries. The square in the shopping area had these cool light squares that changed from light blue to purple to green to blue to yellow to red. Pretty fun - especially since we had been at the C1000 numerous times this time of night and never even noticed them.
