Aunt Julie is HERE!!! Finally - I didn't think we could wait any longer. Julie's plane was 1.5 hours late, so by the time she came out of customs it was nearly 4:00. But all was well and the boys were quite excited to see her. Having missed out on many spoiling opportunities the past 4 months, she bought the boys each a balloon and a Holland magnet before we even left the airport. We took the train back to Delft. Miles and I sat in the doorway with the luggage; Julie and Eliot got to sit in a train car!

After touring the apartment, opening some gifts, looking at the boys' surprises for AJ, and unpacking goodies (garlic salt, fruit leather, bodysoap, clothes), we headed out for dinner. We at at Little Italy - a poor choice because it took over 2 hours for dinner. We just ordered pizza and pasta - yikes! After dinner we strolled over to the Markt. At one of the nicer toy stores - Speel and Leer - we saw one of Jeff Scott's
Flashflight lighted discs for sale, all the way over here in old town Delft. That's pretty cool! Afterwards, we walked to our favorite place for an ice cream cone.
