In the 16th century, it was already recorded as habitual to "hold a free weekly market each Thursday". So continues the tradition today, 500 years later. Incredible, huh?! We needed to recuperate from our big journey south and to replenish our stocks. The boys and I headed out via stroller to get some fruits and veggies. We decided to also treat ourselves to some kibiling (fried fish) and french fries. We bought Jim a gyro for lunch too.
