After breakfast, we headed to the bike rental place to get bikes for everyone. They had these really cool family bikes that sat 4 in a dunebuggy shaped car bike and then 2 kid seats on the front. We thought we should try one out (but never had the time). Once fitted for bikes, we rode around the Landal park to check it out. We discovered that we were in a pretty good location - not next to the highway and not in the direct sun like some of the bungalows (we were surrounded by large trees). We were happy about that.

The arrangement of the bungalows were really pretty clever. Each house was organized the same and about the same size. The ones by us were staggered a little so that you entered from one side and your patio and chairs were on the other. In this way, you really weren't in your neighbors space and you had privacy. Given how many bungalows there were, I expected to see more crowds. It was really very nice.

Before heading back to get our swimsuits, we stopped at the big bouncy trampoline. It was shady and quite fun to jump on. Jim liked to jump up and do a sit down move that he liked to call the earthquake. The other boys on the trampoline thought the earthquake was pretty fun too! Miles only liked to bounce with someone - it was pretty bouncy. We moved on to the playground equipment - a sunken ship in the sand - and a playhouse. The boys had fun in the toddler area (notice the low fence around the playhouse). Time for lunch and then the beach!
