Gerberas in boxes ready for export
Autumn bouquets ready for Dutch tables

Julie had raved about the flower auction (she was quite taken with the logisitcs and the beauty of it), so mom and dad really wanted to visit the facility too. As dad said, you can't really capture how immense it is. Mom noticed the wonderful smell in the warehouse. The boys just love this colorful walkway.
The warehouse floor looks like a busy beehive. Each driver of the scooter has his or her own technique for hooking up to carts (brute force, gentle, by hand). They drive up, stop suddenly, and drop off a cart, pick one up or deliver buckets of flowers. We saw no collisions, though it's hard to imagine none happen with as fast as everyone moves around. There are no slackers. This Friday auction was quite busy, and the auction was still going when we left at 10:30. There were flowers everywhere.
