Today we biked to the post office (TPG Post) and then to the flower market. Thursday is the general market day in Delft, but also it's the flower and plant market. Hippolytusbuurt (the street name) hosts the flower market. Eliot picked out a bunch of small apricot/salmon roses (20 for 3.5 Euro). Afterwards we did a quick bike tour that took us by the train station, past the tracks a ways, on a bridge over the tram tracks, through a tunnel under the rail tracks, and down along the Delftse Schie Haven (harbor). Here we saw this large barge making the turn at De Kolk. It moved past us and we headed to our street. We see this cool white boat sometimes, as it is parked at the end of our street. Not sure what the wooden wings are for, but we like it.
