From the map, we saw that the zoo had a playground, so we thought we'd go check it out. This is what we saw - a 4-story playground hut !!! It had climbing walls, ladders, ropes, bridges going up to the top levels with huge (and I mean huge slides) to take you down. The playground was truly amazing. In addition to the hut, there were basket swings, hammocks, this cool log swing for four, and regular swings plus smaller climbing structures.
After trying to climb the big ladders, Miles and I went over to the little kids area. The sand was a big hit. Jim and Eliot climbed on the big structure. Eliot went down the shorter slide (3 stories) you can see behind us in the sandbox. He was supposed to go with Jim, but ended up sliding down backwards on his head. He was fine but understandably a little scared. Eliot climbs on the bugs and big ropes.
