Our New Gear. The fancy new Volvo that Jim's parents bought for us - not really - but they are letting us drive their new car for the summer while they babysit our car! Today we joined Dutch culture and purchased our new-to-us bikes. Jim rides my bike and pulls his bike back to the apartment, while I push the boys in the stroller. They say you can see almost anything being carried on a bike here (the best that I have seen so far is a small bookcase), so this scene was completely mundane. We spent most of the day getting the rest of our rigs set up: buying locks, child seat, and bike bags. Jim's bike is ready to go with a seat on the back for Miles or Eliot. My bike still needs the front seat for Miles and a back seat for Eliot. We also found a great little used bike for Eliot. He was very excited about having a bike again.
