We arrived at the Rotterdam airport just after 1:00 pm. After getting our luggage and some food for our Miles monkey ("eat something now" is his favorite phrase). We got to our apartment about 2:00 and had a quick lunch. After checking our mail, we realized that our resident cards were ready. Jim already had his, but the boys and I had been waiting for our for months. The city was open until 3:00 so we booked over to the Gemeente at 2:40 to try to sneak in before they closed for their dinner break. We got them (2 weeks before heading home for good!).

Jim worked on packing his suitcases and laundry. Then we headed out for and early dinner at the pannekoeken restaurant one last time as a family. Both boys were tired so it was a bit trying! Afterwards, we went back to the Gemeente to official deregister from Holland for our move back to the US. She was able to do all of ours even though the boys and I were leaving 2.5 weeks later.
After our errands, Jim and Eliot took apart his "paper-saving" box, so Jim could take the pieces back to the US.
