After the museums, Jim and I walked back to the hotel. The evening was cool but quite pleasant. We passed this interesting lamp display. I think it was supposed to be art.

It was nearly 8:30, so after figuring out our route, we headed to the Metro station. We got off at the end of La Rambla and went to find El Paraguayo - a South American restaurant. You know you are in for some good steak when they have the cuts of meat on the menu. Jim got a sirloin, and I had the entrana (a filet actually). Our portions of meat were huge (nearly a pound each); I could only eat half of my steak. Jim and I had considered ordering the steak for 2. Let me say, I am so glad we didn't. Two couples near us ordered 2 orders. It was an obscene amount of meat (which you know must mean it was big). The steak was literally the size of a large roast (3-4 lbs) for 2 people! We had a nice and very filling meal, so we decided to walk home, along La Rambla, Spain's most famous street. It's full of human statues, bird shops, street performers, and supposedly pickpockets.
