I biked Eliot to school in the morning. Since it was one of our last days with the car, John offered to drive me to IKEA to get a small desk for my computer table. While there we also got a nice surprise for the boys - a small kids table and two chairs. IKEA is amazing - 20 Euro for the table and chairs. John and Mary enjoyed touring the giant store and I found a few items we needed. We left and drove to pick up Eliot via the car. This is the first time I've gone to his school by car. Eliot had made a very nice oil-pastel picture of a blue whale today at school. It had a blowhole and a big eye.

After lunch, John and the boys assembled the chairs and table. Miles looks like a born craftsman, really getting into his work putting screws into the holes for Grandpa. They worked together to make my desk too!

Eliot, Grandpa, and Jim have been into watching youtube marble run videos, so they decided to take a shot at their own. In the evening, we had a family project making a "cool" marble run. The course started on the couch, ran down a small ramp, the small staircase, and a long rail that rested on the tike bike, around the clear tubing and turned into a PVC pipe. The marble was shot out of the end of the pipe and rang the bell. It was pretty cool. We took lots of videos (10-15) from all different angles but have not yet published them to youtube.
