While Eliot was at school, mom cleaned some in the apartment and took care of Miles. After taking my advil - I was really feeling bad - I ran errands. First, I had to mail back our resident cards to the immigration lawyer via registered mail. I dropped off the glass bottles for the bottle refund and recycled batteries at the grocery store. Then I stopped by the luggage store to buy another duffel bag. We needed another suitcase for all of our things; I sure hope it's enough. I had to pay 54 Euro (70 dollars) for a duffel made in the US - bummer!

Then I headed to the cheese store one last time. We got about 4-5 pounds of that wonderful boerenkaas - mostly belegen and some oude and jong belegen to bring home. The store clerks vacuumed packed the cheese, while I was at the bank getting some cash. Finally, I stopped by the doctor's office to fill Miles' presciption for inhaled steroids so I wouldn't run out during our travels and jetlag period.

I got home and worked on packing the carryons before I had to book off to pick up Eliot from his last day of school. Miles wanted to join me too!
